MISSING: motivation and my belly button!

The lack of sleep (thanks to my wonderful kidneys!) is starting to take its toll, and I have a small human sucking the energy from me in order to grow so I have zero motivation to do anything today. My health is deteriorating now we are in the final stretch of the pregnancy. On the bright side (if you remember my last post, the bright side is what is keeping me sane at this point) there are 4 weeks until due date, or 2 until a possible induction. We won't know much more on that front until our appointment next Friday where we get serious and talk about the birth plan. I'm a little bit excited. We have a growth scan before our big appointment AND Matthew took a day off from work to come along to both so I'm a happy preggo lady!

I can't believe we are now into our first week of Autumn. The weeks are whizzing by so fast and it makes me sad and happy all at once. I'm sad that Lucas is transforming into a big boy right before my eyes. I am so glad I took so many photos and videos of him as a baby. I didn't truly understand just how fast time went by when people told me "they grow up so quickly". He is going to be a big brother soon. Before we know it he will be finishing college and turning 18.... oh boy. I'm happy because of all the exciting things our little family have coming our way! *PAUSE on this serious note.... Lucas is licking my face :\*

Well after that little giggle fit, I don't see another serious part of this post happening. You can see what I mean about Lucas' love for making people laugh, even if it means licking faces. I took him to Hungry Jacks for lunch and a play yesterday and he sat there and ate his lunch like a good boy. An old lady was sitting across from us and was watching him with a huge smile on her face. He shot her a smile back and she came over and told me how absolutely gorgeous he is. It made me burst with pride to see a complete stranger smiling because of my boy!

I'm still crocheting like a granny. I just finished 3 aviator beanies for my 2 boys and my cousin's baby girl who is due in May. It has been great for keeping me occupied the last few weeks and keeping my mind from wandering over to the dark side. I really want to watch Star Wars now I mentioned the dark side..... anyway, a thought popped into my mind recently about making beanies for other people since I am almost out of projects. My time is very limited after this baby comes so obviously its just to fill in my time while we wait for his arrival. It was just a thought. I should stop thinking before I hurt myself ;)
