I'm finally sitting down ready to write about my life with two beautiful boys. It has been an experience, sometimes difficult, but for the most part VERY amazing! I won't lie about it and pretend its all cupcakes and daisy's, some days I have felt like I was losing my mind. It felt like the boys were in sync with each other, so when Flynn would want feeding, Lucas would start acting up. I missed Matthew and my family. I was stressing about everything and if it wasn't for the lovely women in my DIG, I would've had a serious break down by now!
Lucas is an excellent big brother. He doesn't take much notice of Flynn when he is sleeping, but when he is awake Lucas will give him a kiss and say "hi bubby, what doing?" and still looks as proud as punch when Flynn holds his hand. He has adjusted so well to having a new little person around who he has to share the attention with, especially his Mummy's! Some of the feeding times have been hard because Lucas will demand my attention and its hard to do anything with a hungry baby attached to you!
Speaking of the hungry baby, Flynn is turning into a big Buddha! He has gained 1.4kgs from birth weight in his first month of life. We are still demand feeding and some days it feels like he is spending more time attached to me than not, but I wouldn't change it for the world! Flynn is getting everything he needs from me and that is a beautiful feeling. I am so happy that our breast feeding journey has started off so well! I hope we will be seeing our goal of 1 year successful breast feeding.
How did I get so lucky? I am so in love with these 2 amazing little men and their Daddy! Life with two is better than I ever imagined :) x
