Since 26 weeks gestation I have had an achey pubic bone, which has gotten worse over the last couple of weeks to the point where I can't lift my legs to get dressed, rolling over in bed causes agony and some days it is a struggle to walk. The OB said I may need physio in the next few weeks, but I definitely don't class this as a bad thing! If it makes caring for a 2 year old toddler and every day duties easier than I am all for it. I am really enjoying my pregnancy at the moment despite my kidneys getting up to their usual tricks, but at this stage, I'm doing what I can to avoid getting more medical intervention. Bring on the next few weeks so we are one step closer to meeting our little man! :)
Our other little man has been such a good helper lately! We have been asking Lucas to help us with little bits and pieces and he gladly does it. We went to the supermarket tonight where he helped me pick out the tomatoes we wanted, held my hand the entire way round and even tried to help Daddy push the trolley! I can't believe how lucky I am to have such a well behaved little boy!! Sure, he chucks some tanties sometimes, but they are very mild. We have cut the day nap out and Lucas now goes to bed at 7.30pm where we will have story time then he dozes off to sleep. How did this boy come to be sooo amazing?!? I could sit here all day bragging about all the wonderful things he achieves every day, but that would make for a very long blog post!
This week motherhood has been...... a TRUE blessing! Watching Lucas achieve so much and feeling my insides burst with pride is a beautiful reminder of why I became a mummy x
